Acting coach. Certified at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles. Based in Barcelona. Working with actors in Barcelona and online.
I'll teach you how to use your pain as fuel to conquer the scene.
I want to talk to you about the moment I realized that the hard work I was putting in simply wasn't translating. I was reaching the feelings. I was going deep. But it wasn't translating into a good performance — because it was making me weak.
Then I understood the error I was making.
The turning point came when I discovered the Chubbuck Technique, and with it, the realization that changed everything: when you allow pain to stagnate, when you are not actively fighting to overcome it, you remain a victim. The Chubbuck system is not about dwelling in emotion — it is about strategic empowerment. Pain can become the most powerful fuel you have, if you learn to fight with it. You take your personal story and use it as a weapon to fight, to overcome, and to win the character's objective.
Studying directly with Ivana Chubbuck in Los Angeles, I learned how to install the intention to win into every single performance. That single shift transformed me from a passive presence into a proactive force on stage. And it's the same shift I now guide my actors through, every single class at Arting Studio BCN.
You have the talent. What I give you is the structure to win.
Are you ready to step into your true unique power?

I founded Arting Studio BCN in 2017. Since then, my work has covered the full arc of a professional acting career — from castings to booked roles, from scene study to performance.
I have prepared actors for castings that landed them the role. I have coached actors already cast in films and TV series, building the character work that takes them onto set. Most recently, I worked intensively with the lead actress of an independent film shot in Barcelona.
A large part of my work is private coaching — with actors who want to go deeper into the Chubbuck Technique, or strengthen a specific scene, character or audition. Alongside this, I lead group scene-study classes in Barcelona and online.
I have directed more than twenty actor showreels — all published on the Arting Studio BCN YouTube channel. For several years I also produced acting showcases with my students at Comedy Clubhouse Barcelona.
There is not a day I am not personally working on a scene. Over the years I have analysed and worked through hundreds of scenes — from films, TV series and plays — and every week I take on a new one. This is not background to the work I do with actors. It is the work.
That continuous practice — combined with years of working closely with actors at every level — is what allows me to guide them deeper, help them make sharper, bolder choices, and step into their work with real power.
"It's easy to find coaches who point out your flaws, but it's rare to find someone who brings out the best in you. Elsy did exactly that."
